WOMEN reach out a hand and the heart of sisterhood across all boundaries offering resources in the service of spiritual life, to connect women of faith in their activities for Christ in their communities.

WOMEN carries out its mission through these objectives:
• To develop a network for support and encouragement of women’s spiritual growth and leadership
• To celebrate what women are already doing in the Church
• To provide a clearing house for resources on Orthodox Teachings
VISION: Women of The Spirit
The Women’sOrthodoxMinistriesEducationalNetwork’s Vision is to cultivate the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in Orthodox Christian women, to nurture the entire body of Christ, building up the Church and increasing Christian love for one another, through spiritual growth in Christ and service in our own and the community at large.
We profess firm faith in Christ and in our Church’s teachings and affirm that each person is created in the Image of God and is called to grow into His Likeness. We believe that all persons are endowed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in ways that uniquely express the fullness of their humanity and that it is each one’s responsibility to develop their God-given talents in service to God.
WHAT WE DO:
• Sunday school & teenagers socialise after Church on Sunday.
• Ladies kyklos understanding our Liturgical Church Calendar and her teaching.
• Welfare committee working to support Elpis Home and assisting members of the community who are in need.
• Outreach mission project in Khayelitsha.
• Interactive Orthodox Book Club for all who are interested.
• Orthodox Church Library
• Youth Group working in collaboration with our youth.

In FINDING OUR ROOTS we offer a pool of resources to help inspire and guide us; reminding us that Prayer, Scripture reading, the Sacraments and worship are the most important priorities for Spiritual life.
GOALS Women serving the community
• Promote Women’s conferences and events.
• Help strengthen the existing working groups to promote the Youth, Welfare and Mission Programmes under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Sergios.
